I’ll be presenting works from past and present, along side great artists such as Lady Pink, Martha Cooper, Indie 184, Queen Andrea, Jane Dickson, Janette Beckman, Miss Van, Vexta, Imagine, Pau Quintanajornet, Herakut, Nani Chacon, Diana McClure, Lady K-Fever, Sarah C. Rutherford and Swoon.

The Andrew Freedman Home presents EVOLUTION: FORGING FORWARD. A group exhibition curated by Alice Mizrachi ; Evolution chronicles the progression of women artists with roots in graffiti, street art and/or hip hop culture who have flourished.
For many of these women, the journey from dangerous and frowned-upon street art to what is now a high-demand marketplace for artists of their stature; has been multi-faceted and hard won. Empowered by communal and individual pursuits, challenges and transformations; Their work reveals an evolution in style and substance, along with a continued reverence for the vibrant subculture from which they come.
The exhibition includes sculpture, painting, mixed media, and photography as well as each artist’s thoughts on the meaning of Evolution in their own lives. Several of the artists have collaborated on projects and exhibitions over many years, at home and abroad, developing a sense of community, support and camaraderie. The exhibition will be documented in a catalog, available at the Andrew Freedman Home.
The Andrew Freedman Home is an art and culture collective that is a hub of creativity and learning in the South Bronx. Featuring two exhibition galleries, an artists in residence program, special events, theatrical and music performances, a small business incubator, workforce development, Universal Pre-K program and event rental spaces, AFH has been serving the Bronx since 2012.
